Main cover and scenic tower
The metallic roof structure belongs to the second roof of the Solís Theatre and was made in Paris in 1881. This structure replaced the original (made of wood) which had serious static problems. Other reason for this substitution was the need to extend the stage space and elevate the technical bridge. This metallic structure was designed by the engineer Capurro to cover two continuos spaces with different functions: the stage (with the bridge) and the auditorium.
